Acceptance
Downloading, installing or using NexinMap Desktop (the “Software”) means you have read and agree to these terms. If you disagree, stop using it and uninstall.
Nature of the Software
The Software is a desktop tool for GIS and survey work. It is mainly used to download map tiles, DEM, historical imagery, 3D Tiles and vectors for a chosen area, and to convert common formats.
The Software does not ship map tiles, imagery or vectors. Data come from third-party services you configure or choose (for example Tianditu, Amap, Esri, OpenStreetMap) and sources you are already licensed to use.
It is a protocol adapter, extent picker and format converter. It does not crack, bypass access control or scrape without authorization.
Your responsibilities
Before use, you must follow:
- The target source’s terms, API quotas and license scope;
- Rate, concurrency and cache limits of the target service;
- Survey, geographic information and data-security laws where you work;
- Use downloaded data only for licensed or otherwise lawful purposes; do not redistribute, resell or use it for commercial training beyond the original terms.
Domestic map downloads require lawful qualification or provider authorization. Foreign data must follow applicable law and cross-border rules.
Copyright
Intellectual property in tiles, rasters, vectors, 3D models and metadata downloaded or converted through the Software belongs to the original providers. NexinMap and its developers claim no rights in that content and do not grant licenses on the providers’ behalf.
The Software UI, marks and documentation belong to NexinMap rights holders.
Prohibited use
You must not:
- Run large-scale, systematic scraping of third-party services without authorization;
- Bypass, forge or abuse access control, paywalls, API credentials or signatures;
- Obtain or spread data involving state secrets, military restricted areas or other legally restricted geographic information;
- Infringe others’ rights or use the Software for illegal purposes.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- The Software is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties of merchantability, accuracy or fitness;
- Losses from third-party source changes, outages, throttling, bans or term changes are yours;
- Consequences of breaking these terms, third-party terms or the law are yours.
License and updates
Download and conversion features may require a trial or paid license. License rules follow in-app text and official notices. We may ship updates through official channels. Material term changes will be posted on the website or in the Software.
